You’re getting a poem because politely explaining that “shit happens” seems irrelevant. There are just so many things that can compound at once leaving a person helpless in a series of unfortunate events that can also be defined as “survival.”
But for the record… seek help from a legitimately licensed doctor practicing medicine. Not everyone who has a college degree of any sort is a doctor. Not everyone with a doctorate degree is a medical physician. There is a huge difference between a neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, nurse, and cna. Get your primary care physician to refer you to a psychiatrist or neurologist. One of the benefits of having your primary care physician make the referral is that they can share relevant information with the doctor you’re going to see.
If you have a family member who is playing the role of diagnosing anything and everything under the sun… tell them to go to hell. I don’t mind if you blame that fallout on me but they probably need a verbal reckoning to shut down their useless opinions. They will eventually come around.
All of your efforts in life are practicing so if you don’t get it right on your first go… chalk your efforts up to practice. Everyone improves when they practice. Don’t ever give up no matter how much practice or how many failed attempts it takes.
