Mary said yes, Gabriel told

And then there’s God—
Archangel Michael

So so so many things—
and the beginning

Yes— I need more interviews
Yes— I need more interrogations

Maybe the Shroud scientists?
So what if it’s all art and myths!

This is not Dateline—
This is the Sophia Chat Line.

And wondering if— rape, incest,
Young love gone serious?

A mystical encounter?
A legitimate Divine Miracle—

Is trusting the sacraments enough?
Why rip apart the lore in religion?

And in the end saying— Yes!
Is more than enough—

The complex simplicity—
An infinite commitment to life—

Mary said, “Behold, I am the
handmaid of the Lord. May it
be done to me according to
your word.” Luke 1:38

All that matters—
Regardless of consequences—

Mary said yes. I trust that.
