Why Softball?
Three bases
And home plate
Two teams - 9 players
A short bat - large ball
It's like baseball...
but it's not.
It's the bluff of a pitcher
The arrogance of a batter
Being ready and able
To catch-- then chase--
That batter-- eagerly visualizing
Home plate-- a slide and pride
America supporting women
In a mental sport--
So... why soft ball?
So, you won't forget--
Women can have it all.
