Ode to Mama T
In the depths of despair
With mercy to spare
Reminded of Judas'
Lack of care-- yet
Remembering Jesus'
Concern even there--
How do I begin--
Though aware--
Seeing life suffering
And warned -- again
I'll tell you Christianity
May seem just as
Jaded as the reality
Of Mama T -- but
Forgiveness was not
Questioned by the Lord
Our Savior whose mercy
Holds hope unwavering
