Oh, how I LOVE Joan Chittister...
let me count the ways:
1. She is a ROCK STAR Fighter,
who has taken heat from clergy and
lay people while PIONEERING
Women's Rights and Women's Voice
in the Roman Catholic tradition and
on a Global Political Platform.
2. She has also maintained a
steadfast conviction to advocate
for Women's Rights while
also taking heat from WOMEN...
like really? Its SISTER JOAN,
she's like everybody's "GRANDMA!"
3. On the grounds of living out a
DREAM of Religious Life, she is a
Genius at Creative Marketing Strategy,
Entrepreneurial Discipline, Academic
Achievement, Gazillion Dollar Word
Usage and she connects with a VAST
GLOBAL Population.
And on a personal note, I do not
understand why she has not been
elected Bishop... I would LOVE
for her to BE in MOBILE, Alabama!
Maybe we can skip that step and
make her POPE!
(Pope Francis its on!)
